Cooley's Litigation Department Recognized in Benchmark Litigation Legal Guide
Palo Alto, Calif. – December 2, 2009 – Cooley Godward Kronish LLP announced today that its litigation department earned high marks in the 2010 edition of Benchmark Litigation, a legal guide evaluating the leading law firms and attorneys in the United States.
Eleven Cooley litigators were singled out in the survey – up from three in the 2009 edition. They included Michael Rhodes (California), Alan Levine (White Collar – National), Stephen Neal (California), William Schwartz (White Collar – National), Jonathan Bach (White Collar – National), Steve Strauss (California), Michael Attanasio (White Collar – National), Bill Grauer (California), Koji Fukumura (California), Patrick Gunn (California) and Celia Goldwag Barenholtz (New York).
Cooley's litigation department was rated as "Recommended" in both California and New York, and the firm's securities litigation practice was prominently rated in "Tier 2" of the national rankings. The guide noted that Cooley litigators "were incredibly strong and provided very insightful guidance," and that Cooley "has made significant inroads in the New York litigation community…"
