Cooley Announces Upcoming Annual Clean Tech Conference

Palo Alto, Calif. – Sept. 30, 2009 – Cooley Godward Kronish will host a major gathering of top Silicon Valley insiders and thought leaders in the clean technology industry at the annual Cooley Clean Tech Conference being held in Silicon Valley (Redwood City, Calif.) on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009.

The conference will commence with an overview of the current state of the clean technology markets then address the U.S. carbon markets and government regulatory scheme, emerging technologies and the opportunities and challenges facing companies in a carbon-constrained environment.  In addition, the event will also feature an exclusive "fireside chat" with Steve Westly, the founder and managing partner of the clean technology-focused venture capital firm Westly Group and the former controller and CFO of the state of California.
