Cooley to Host Cleantech Funding Event Featuring San Jose, Calif. Mayor Chuck Reed

Palo Alto, Calif – March 19, 2009 – Cooley Godward Kronish announced today that San Jose, Calif. Mayor Chuck Reed and Worldwatch President Chris Flavin will lead a March 23 discussion on how entrepreneurs looking to launch or expand cleantech ventures can benefit from funding available through the economic stimulus package and local government incentives.

The event, organized in partnership with Wharton Energy Network (WEN) and the Wharton Club of Northern California (WCNC), will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 23 at Cooley Godward Kronish’s Palo Alto office, located at 3175 Hanover Street (off Page Mill Road).

Cost for WCNC Members, WEN members, members of affiliate clubs and their accompanied guests is $20 per person. Cost for non-member alumni and other guests is $40 per person. After 10 a.m. PDT on Friday, March 20, tickets will increase by $10 each.
