Cooley advises Gilead on $1.4 Billion Deal (The New York Times)
Cooley advised Gilead Sciences in an agreement to aquire CV Therapeutics, a maker of cardiovascular drugs like Ranexa and Lexiscan. The deal will prevent a hostile bid by Astellas Pharma and complement the company's cardiovascular portfolio.
